Smart supports

More options menu

Advanced mode is activated in the preferences menu, giving access to settings for retraction, print speed of the outer walls, and first layer speed among others. In expert mode, users can create custom settings with the "Save as New" (fig.9) button. Once the advanced settings are chosen, the user can click on "OK" to generate a .g or .gx file which will be read on the machine.

There are only a few buttons and no extra-settings in the basic mode.

There are some interesting features such as the grid support generation or the option to cut objects in order to fit the build plate. An advanced user will be likely to select the advanced mode to set prints correctly. Once this mode is selected, the set-up phase is more complex but the slicer has full functionality.
