HomeHelper is an app that connects your macOS video surveillance system to HomeKit. It is designed to work in conjunction with SecuritySpy, the premier CCTV software for Mac (read more at securityspy.com).
With HomeHelper and SecuritySpy, you can set up rules to initiate recording from HomeKit events (e.g. 'if the front doorbell is pressed, start recording in all downstairs cameras'). You can also set up rules to set HomeKit accessory states based on camera events (e.g. 'if the front door camera detects motion, turn on the outside lights').
HomeHelper provides the following features:
- Set up HomeKit Triggers to initiate camera recording/alarms from HomeKit events
- Set up HomeKit Actions to perform whenever a camera detects motion
- Triggers can also invoke Schedule Presets to set camera recording modes
- Allows flexible rules that can include multiple accessories
- Easy to use interface
